About Me

Who am I?

I am passionate about creating an equitable, inclusive, and accessible community. I have more than a decade’s experience in research and work with individuals who identify with a disability across the lifespan. I hold a PhD in Exercise and Sport Psychology from the University of Toronto and specialize in qualitative and mixed methodologies, using participatory and arts-based approaches to working with marginalized populations. Basically, I use alternative ways of connecting with underserved populations that puts their voices at the forefront.

Sample Research Presentation

It's a rare opportunity that research presentations are recorded and published online prior to a conference. BUT, with the COVID-19 pandemic, many conferences pivoted to an online format. Take a look at one such presentation given on 8 April 2021 for the Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise Student and Early Career Researcher Conference.
